Skilled stonemason Daniel Scully operates his business in the CT River Valley region and sought to give his company a brand identity that embodied his approach to masonry: sophisticated, clean, and deliberate.
With most crafts and trades, the way to prove one’s skill is through Show, Don’t Tell. One of the ways to do that in design is by the overall silhouette of a logo. Here, the monogram is set within a keystone, the most critical element of a stone arch. Paired with the words “Stone Works” nestled against its side, the elements join to make a unit that feels solid and securely stacked.
A design doesn’t need to look like a stone to feel like one.
